Depression
Depression is a chronic mental illness and affects 1 in 16 Australians. Lived experience of depression differs between individuals and presents as varying degree of symptom severity. Symptoms of depression are like anxiety and may include emotional and physical symptoms such as poor sleep, fatigue, decreased concentration and focus, restlessness, suicidal thoughts and social withdrawal.
Given the implication of poor communication in neural activity in the brain of individuals with depression, MeRT℠ begins by mapping your brain activity and identifying areas that may not be communicating effectively. With personalized protocols and understanding that every individual is different, these areas are then specifically nurtured to strengthen their functionality and recovery.
By synchronizing the brain or neural activity communication, individuals with Depression can experience improvement in sleep quality and duration, concentration and focus, mood and motivation, self-confidence and self-esteem, sociability and clarity of thoughts.
